We hosted our wedding dinner at Champers in February of this year. Chiryl (owner) was incredible - arranged the music, the cake and even the photographer for us! It was a magical evening - thank you so much Chiryl

Was invited here for dinner by my uncle & auntie and other family members. Twenty nine of us sat down to eat. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was exquisite,my steak was cooked to perfection and the service was first class. I look forward to returning here again and i have recommended this restaurant to other family members & friends.

we went Christmas eve and just loved it. The food, service and the trio singing and playing musical instruments was perfect. Just sad that we were not able to go again during our time in Barbados.

We were told about this restaurant whilst on holiday. last year and managed to get a reservation on our last day. For the starter I had shrimp and mango salad, and ordered the fish pie for my main. After I ate the salad, I was full up and unable to eat the main course. The staff were happy to bag this for me. I found the food excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. the overall service was quick and very professional. we loved it so much we will be returning this year to celebrate our anniversary.

it was utterly amazing. the waiter we had i think his name was lyn, he was very memorable. the food was well decorated and very delicious.
they have a wide selection of fresh juice which was impressive. i will always remember my night there and i hope to go back soon. =)

Just back from Barbados, had three lunches and two or three dinners at Champers during our stay. We ate at all the top restaurants on the island like The Cliff, Pisces, Josefs, South Sea and so on and found that the best overall restaurant is Champers. Others may be better at certain things, but best value: Champers!
That someone can rate the restaurants atmosphere a 3 on the back of the patrons behaviour is a shame. You are rating the restaurant, not the idiot guests you see.

Are you Kidding Me!!!! This is one of the best birthday dinners I have ever had. My family treated me to the Parmesan crusted Barracuda and the Coconut Shrimp. PHENOMENAL!!!! If you have not been, move it to the top of your list. I hope to go back soon and enjoy my experience all over again.

My friends arranged a surprise birthday dinner party for me at this lovely restaurant. I wish love to thank them once again for an evening of fine cuisine, excellent service, a breath-taking ambience and a most of all a memorable night. Also, thanks to the management and staff for joining the celebrations and singing Happy Birthday to me. What night it was !!!

Champers is indeed the best restaurant on the island in the areas of: 1) value for money, 2) taste, choice and presentation of food, 3) ambiance, 4) location, 5) service and most importantly, 6) its desert selection! I would unreservedly recommend Champers to my friends, family and colleagues. I reside here in Barbados and always choose Champers for all my special occasions.

I just wanted to commend your staff on the excellent service provided. I would especially like to point out the service provided by our waitress Michelle. She was quite knowledgeable about the way each dish was prepared and what it contained if anyone was not familiar with the name of the dish and was also familiar with which wines go better with a particular meal. She was attentive and prompt with all our requests. The other staff also made sure that our water glasses were never empty and that we were all happy must also be commended. The food was beautifully presented and was delicious! My girlfriends and I (eight in all) had dinner on 12 Sept 2008 to celebrate a 25th birthday and had a wonderful time. Kudos again to you. Every staff member we came into contact with made it a memorable experience and the ambiance was elegant and breathtaking. Thank you.

My husband and I ate at Champers for the first time in October, 2007. It was a wonderful experience all around. The food was delicious - the best we've had in our years visiting Barbados. The art gallery added a nice touch to the upscale ambiance and the service was excellent. We're taking my sister & her family there for her birthday when we visit again in August, 2008!!

Have been going to Champers at it's current and past location for many years. We used to love it but this year was the second consecutive visit where we did not feel to receive value for money. Setting is beautiful and that is what I think influences many people to giving positive opinions. We were lucky to be given a waterside table. But were unlucky to be next to a group of people who had a problem expressing themselves in words other than 4 letters. That was mainly the so called lady in their group. Hence my mark for 'atmosphere'. The quality of meat in my pork dish was very poor and it took 30 minutes from request to receipt of the bill, despite the restaurant only being half full. I appreciate this bucks the trend since most people seem to worship this establishment. But I do feel their standards have declined and they are trading on their past reputation.

We had a fantastic meal there in January it was the last day of our holiday so wanted something extra special, the view, the atmosphere, the staff and the food were all amazing and definately topped off a perfect holiday - the Duck Salad was amazing!! i definately recommend it.
Many thanks Champers we'll be back there again next time we're in Barbados :)

My family and I went to Chapmpers for my husbands birthday. It was a group of six which included 3 adults, 2 teens, and 1 child (3yrs). It's was amazing and they were great with my 3 year old. If you are in Barbados you must eat at Champers. When ever we go back we will also go and eat at Champers.

I have been going to Champers for over 5 years and found it one of the best restaurants on the island.
This past March we were 7 of us that had an unpleasant time at Champers. We had reservations at 7:00 and were promptly seated. We ordered drinks. From then on it was down hill. Our server apparently did not put in our meal ticket. We waited for over 2 hours to be served. The manager said it must be an 'off night". How can Champers have an OFF NIGHT. It was horable. We were given a bottle of wine for our wait. My meal was very good and so were 2 others. But the remainder. Their fish was over cooked?! This is not the Champers I know. We do not plan on going back. Sorry you have to read this. But we spent over $500.00 American dollars and we were very dissatified. Hopefully the managers can work with the Wait Staff to get them on board and treat us as special. As we do spend our money.
